"Though my heart is still grounded in the Rocky Mountains' alpine flora and stone, I've found a new sense of beauty here in Florida. One of the ways I connect with this place is through surfing, where I find a quiet balance amidst the powerful torrents of the ocean. I also find a grounding peace in the Live Oak trees, appreciating the incredible shapes and strength of these local beauties."
